C. Todd Drake Educational Background
1996 Juris Doctor University of Colorado School of Law 1991 B.A. University of Illinois Political Science Professional Experience and Areas of Concentration Todd Drake grew up in Peoria, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois in 1991 with a degree in Political Science. Following graduation, he worked as a ski bum in Breckenridge, Colorado, before attending the University of Colorado School of Law. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1996 and has been in private practice since that time. Todd’s practice focuses on the defense of medical professionals and organizations, as well as employment defense and commercial litigation. He maintains an active appellate practice and has been the lead appellate counsel on the multiple published and unpublished opinions in the Colorado appellate courts and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also the author of several articles for legal and medical publications. He is a member of both the Denver Bar Association and the Colorado Bar Association, including a past member of the CBA’s Interprofessional Committee. In his free time, Todd enjoys reading, travel and all sports, including skiing, golf, softball and tennis.
