Jeffrey M. Leake practices in litigation with an emphasis on construction defect claims. Prior to joining Montgomery Little & Soran, he worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Adams County for 2-1/2 years. He tried approximately thirty cases while with the DA's office, including six felony jury trials. Mr. Leake successfully tried a first-degree murder case, as well as two attempted first-degree murders. Prior to the DA's office, he worked at a Denver law firm involved in litigation regarding trade secret violations and non-competition agreements.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Leake taught at schools in Asuncion, Paraguay and at a high school in Denver. While a teacher, Mr. Leake created a high school mock trial team that competed in the Denver Regional High School Mock Trial Competition. Mr. Leake is fluent in Spanish.
