Juris Doctor University of Denver M.A. University of Alabama B.A. St. John Fisher College, Rochester, New York Professional Experience and Areas of Concentration Jeffrey M. Leake practices in litigation with an emphasis on construction defect claims. Prior to joining Montgomery Little & Soran, he worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Adams County for 2-1/2 years. He tried approximately thirty cases while with the DA's office, including six felony jury trials. Mr. Leake successfully tried a first-degree murder case, as well as two attempted first-degree murders. Prior to the DA's office, he worked at a Denver law firm involved in litigation regarding trade secret violations and non-competition agreements. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Leake taught at schools in Asuncion, Paraguay and at a high school in Denver. While a teacher, Mr. Leake created a high school mock trial team that competed in the Denver Regional High School Mock Trial Competition. Mr. Leake is fluent in Spanish.
