Amy Cook-Olson is a shareholder who has practiced law for over ten years. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Ms. Cook-Olson served as a public defender in Denver, Colorado. She has tried over 50 jury and bench trials. At Montgomery Little Soran & Murray, Ms. Cook-Olson represents a broad range of clients, including insurance companies, health care providers, real estate agents, attorneys, corporations and personal injury claimants.
Ms. Cook-Olson specializes in the defense of physicians, nurses, hospitals, and health care institutions in medical negligence claims and employment matters. She also serves as advisory counsel for physicians, physician practices and for corporations involved in the health care industry. Ms. Cook-Olson is experienced in appellate practice having argued before the Colorado Appellate and Supreme Courts on behalf of her clients and as amicus curiae. She has represented nurses and physicians before their respective professional licensing boards.
Ms. Cook-Olson is admitted to practice in both Colorado and Illinois, and is admitted before the United States District Court for the District of Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
