Dan Murphy, a shareholder, practices in the fields of construction law, civil, commercial, and criminal litigation. Mr. Murphy has achieved an AV peer rating in Martindale-Hubbell, a distinction recognizing preeminent legal ability and the highest standard of ethical conduct. Mr. Murphy specializes in construction law and litigation. He is a contributing author to The Practitioner's Guide to Colorado Construction Law and is a frequent lecturer on Colorado construction law.
As a former Deputy District Attorney for the 18th Judicial District, Mr. Murphy was responsible for the prosecution of felony, juvenile and county court matters, and tried more than 125 jury trials and more than 50 trials to the Court. During his work for the District Attorney's office, he was recognized for Outstanding Contributions as Special Prosecutor for the City and County of Denver.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Murphy has acquired substantial expertise in the field of construction law. His practice currently concentrates on the representation of design professionals, general contractors and subcontractors in construction litigation, arbitration, and contractual matters.
