Carmen Decker practices in the firm's litigation department. She joined Montgomery Little Soran & Murray after graduating from the University of Denver College of Law, where she served as a student advocate representing low income clients in all aspects of criminal defense matters.
Since joining Montgomery Little Soran & Murray, Ms. Decker's litigation practice has focused primarily on the representation of hospitals, physicians, nurses and attorneys in professional malpractice actions and administrative proceedings. Her practice also includes personal injury defense and insurance defense litigation.
Ms. Decker is licensed to practice in Colorado state courts, the District Court for the District of Colorado, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association and the Arapahoe County Bar Association. Ms. Decker has been involved in several legal education presentations, including a presentation to Colorado mental health professionals on the topic of legal issues in behavioral health and a speech to Colorado lawyers on the negotiation and enforcement of settlement agreements.
