John Riley practices in general litigation matters with an emphasis on construction, engineer, architect, and auto accident claims. Mr. Riley’s work experience includes personal injury claims, contract disputes and professional license matters before state licensing agencies. He is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Riley’s trial and arbitration experience includes more than 27 cases presented to juries, judges, and arbitrators. During a nine-month time period, Mr. Riley had five civil trials including back to back week long jury trials for two separate engineering clients. Mr. Riley’s writing and appellate experience includes appeal briefs and oral arguments to the Colorado Court of Appeals and to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. His appellate work has resulted in twelve published opinions.
Mr. Riley is a shareholder at Montgomery Little & Soran and has been employed at the firm since 1990. In law school, Mr. Riley was on the Iowa Law Review and served as an associate editor. Mr. Riley passed both the Iowa Bar (now inactive) and the Colorado Bar in a one month time period in 1989.
