Courtney Cline is an Equity Shareholder with Montgomery Little & Soran, specializing in divorce and family law matters. During law school, Ms. Cline clerked with the Denver District Attorney’s Office in County Court, Juvenile Court and Drug Court. After graduation, Ms. Cline joined the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office prosecuting misdemeanor offenses from DUIs to Domestic Violence.

Ms. Cline’s practice is focused on divorce and family law, which encompasses dissolution of marriage and legal separation, including division of property and debts, maintenance and attorney fees; child-related matters such as decision-making, parenting time, child support, and relocation; post-decree modifications of parenting time and child support; enforcement of court orders by contempt or execution of judgments; representation of parents in dependency and neglect matters, kinship and step-parent adoptions and paternity actions; pre-nuptial and post-nuptial marital agreements; and all aspects of the appeal process. Ms. Cline represents clients throughout the state of Colorado.

Ms. Cline is an experienced attorney, trained in Collaborative Law, who prides herself on the high level of service she provides to each client. Ms. Cline is dedicated to insuring the client understands the impact the decisions in his or her case may have on not only the outcome of the settlement or litigation but also the client’s future. Ms. Cline successfully advances the interests of her clients while carefully listening to and addressing their needs. Ms. Cline is committed to working with her clients to find practical, creative, and cost-effective solutions to help ease the burdens family law cases so often involve. As an amicable settlement is not always possible, Ms. Cline is also an experienced litigator who has successfully tried a variety of divorce and family law cases, including complex financial disputes and highly contested child custody matters. Ms. Cline believes preparedness and professionalism lead to positive outcomes in settlement and litigation.

In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Cline serves as a mediator for all divorce and family law disputes, bringing her experience in the Courtroom to the settlement table to assist parties in amicable resolutions of their divorce and family law matters.  Ms. Cline further assists families in resolution of their disputes through Court appointments as a Collaborative Law Mediator, Parenting Coordinator, Decision-Maker, and Arbitrator.

Ms. Cline received the highest “AV” rating from Martindale Hubbell in 2012 and continues to maintain this designation, which is the pinnacle of professional excellence earned through a peer review rating process. Ms. Cline is honored to have been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition 2012, 2013, and 2015 through 2018.  This honor is bestowed on less than 2.5% of lawyers in the State of Colorado.
