Professional Experience and Areas of Concentration 

Erin C. Nave is an associate with Montgomery Little & Soran. Ms. Nave’s practice is focused on commercial litigation and appeals, with an emphasis on real estate and bankruptcy and creditor's rights.  

Ms. Nave regularly assists clients experiencing situations of financial distress, including representation of creditors and debtors in bankruptcy litigation and appeals.  Ms. Nave also frequently handles matters involving title insurance claims, title agent negligence and defalcation, real estate broker license complaints, boundary and access disputes, public trustee and judicial foreclosures, mechanic’s liens, and real estate-related appeals. 

In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Nave advises privately-held businesses in a wide range of corporate matters, including entity formation, contract drafting and review, real estate sales and acquisitions, sales and leasing, secured lending, and employment matters. 

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Nave served as a judicial law clerk to the judges of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Denver. She began her career in the litigation and business restructuring & bankruptcy departments of a large regional law firm based out of the Midwest. Ms. Nave was selected by Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star in Business Litigation in 2014, 2015, and 2017.

Ms. Nave is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Indiana, including the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Colorado, Southern District of Indiana, and Northern District of Indiana. She is a member of the Mountain Desert chapter of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) and the Colorado Bar Association.

Ms. Nave graduated cum laude from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis and received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.
