Lindsay J. Miller is an associate with Montgomery Little & Soran. Ms. Miller’s practice is focused on general litigation, with an emphasis on real estate, probate, landlord/tenant, and collection matters.  During law school, Ms. Miller clerked with the Denver Probate Court, the Englewood City Attorney’s Office, and the Weld County District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Miller has been in private litigation practice since graduation and has represented a variety of clients across Colorado, including Waldo Canyon fire victims in Colorado Springs, local families, and national corporations, including “Fannie Mae,” the Federal National Mortgage Association.

Ms. Miller is an experienced, dedicated attorney who takes pride in providing high quality legal services and advice to clients, often during very stressful times in their lives. Her clients appreciate her approachability, responsiveness, and attention to detail. She understands that every client has different needs, and strives to tailor her approach to each individual case. While Ms. Miller enjoys trial work, she also recognizes that clients may benefit from early resolution of disputes. She advocates not only for her client’s interests, but also their peace of mind.

Ms. Miller is the author of multiple articles published in the Colorado Lawyer, including “ ‘Columbine’ and Colorado’s Records Acts: Considerations for the Civil Litigator” 45 Colo. Law., September 2016, at 45; “A Primer on the Requirements for a Compensable Injury,” 44 Colo. Law., March 2015, at 45; and “Residential Tenancies, Lease to Eviction-an Overview of Colorado Law,” 43 Colo. Law., May 2014, at 55. Recently, Ms. Miller was asked to present a continuing legal education program to the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association on the topic of using Open Records Acts effectively in litigation practice.

Ms. Miller received the highest “AV” rating from Martindate Hubbell in 2015 and continues to maintain this designation.  Ms. Miller has also been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition for the State of Colorado for the years 2016 and 2017.  This honor is bestowed on less than 2.5% of the lawyers in the State of Colorado. Ms. Miller has also received recognition as a pro bono participant in the Colorado Bar Association’s Colorado Flood Legal Relief Helpline program, assisting flood victims in northern Colorado.  She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Denver Bar Association, and the Douglas/Elbert County Bar Association.
