The Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association is a group of over one-thousand lawyers committed to enhancing the practice of family law in the State of Colorado. The Family Law Section provides a forum for the education of, and communication among family law practitioners and their staff, judges, elected officials, the state bar association, and members of the public.
From that group of over one thousand Colorado lawyers, Mr. King was recently re-elected as a member of the Family Law Section’s highly selective Executive Council. Out of the one-thousand family law practitioners in Colorado, only a select few other attorneys were elected to the Executive Council. The Executive Council is the governing body of the Family Law Section, and as such, works with the legislature, the courts, and the executive branch for family law attorneys in the State of Colorado.
Mr. King is appreciative of this opportunity to serve and hopes to use this platform to help further enhance the practice of family law throughout the State of Colorado.
