Biography

Denise B. Borne joined Montgomery Little & Soran, P.C. as an associate attorney in the fall of 2023. Her practice is focused on a mix of litigation and transactional matters with an emphasis on boundary and easement issues, breach of contract claims, quiet title actions, landlord-tenant disputes, development matters, title disputes, and insurance coverage.

Ms. Borne is from Israel and the Netherlands. She graduated from the Erasmus University School of Law in the Netherlands and studied a year abroad at the Hebrew University School of Law in Jerusalem. Ms. Borne was on the Erasmus Law Review and completed several internships at Dutch law firms. She practiced law for three years at a law firm in the Netherlands, where she mainly focused on Intellectual Property and commercial litigation. Ms. Borne graduated from Duke University School of Law with an Intellectual Property, Science, and Technology Law Certificate.

Ms. Borne recognizes that her clients both in Europe and the U.S. share the commonality of navigating the difficulties of complex legal systems. She wants to make a difference by helping people to resolve problems they couldn’t solve on their own. With her global experience and background, Ms. Borne can bring diverse perspectives to complex matters. Ms. Borne speaks English, Dutch, and Hebrew.

Ms. Borne is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Women’s Bar Association. She is licensed in Colorado. When not practicing law, Ms. Borne enjoys spending time with her husband and chocolate lab and backpacking and trail running in the Colorado great outdoors.
